We are a family business now in its fifth generation of winemaking owners: rooted in tradition and focused on innovation.
We manage according to the organic method about two hundred hectares in the hills of the Val d’Elsa Fiorentina, opposite San Gimignano.
The diversification is that of the Tuscan farm: at the center is the vine, flanked by arable land, olive groves, prode and woods.
We work for the estate wines to express our territory.
We pay special attention to vineyard care, which remains a labor-based activity rather than mechanization or the use of industrial products, without forcing the plants.
Healthy bunches of grapes, careful management of the harvest and the use of indigenous yeasts mean that fermentation is a natural process, requiring only our monitoring.
We continue to produce and protect the special beauty of the landscape in these areas by reforesting, planting hedge rows, building lakes, and experimenting with varieties and forms of management every day that are more attentive to the welfare of workers and customers and to environmental conservation.
